Vancouver Winter Olympics 2010

The boys and I went on a little adventure to downtown Vancouver to soak up the energy and to experience Vancouver at one of its most vibrant. We rode the bus and the train to downtown Vancouver with Margaret & Carissa. It was definitely a memorable and fun day!
The girls went on a separate trip in the evening for a night out and it was great fun to just walk the streets and enjoy the liveliness of the city and have Pho on a cold winter evening with great girlfriends and talk about everything and anything.

Eating is like a national pastime for us Singaporeans. We grew up learning the goodness of eating as part of a social culture and even whilst we are now living miles away, food and the topic of food is like a binding force that unites us.

We are so blessed to have such great friends here in Vancouver to celebrate the traditional festivities together. I am glad my boys have the opportunity to experience a little of what Chinese New Year means.
Chinese New Year 2010
I am back on this page. Almost exactly a month behind in my blogging life. We spent the first day of Chinese New Year at the Goathams. A yearly affair and a good one as always.
