Another milestone for Lucas. He can finally go to the toilet on his own. YAY!
He has been toilet-trained for a while, but we still have to carry him onto the toilet seat (where he has a potty that goes on top of our seat). He cannot actually reach the adult toilet seat yet, but we have a small potty for him (which he never liked to use). So...the other challenge was to transition to peeing from a standing position from a seating position.
Well..we tried for 2 days and now he just goes to his potty, takes off his pants and go pee-pee by himself! The only thing is I have to quickly go check on him to make sure he doesn't mess with his output!! And quickly dispose of it rightaway!
This only happens at home. It is still iffy when he is out and about. He is normally dry but when he gets carried away playing, he does still have the occasional 'accidents' in his diapers.
