Baby days

My posts these days seem to be all about Lucas. It's true. Our days are orchestrated by baby Lucas. We do almost nothing else these days other than meeting to his needs and spending time discovering him. It has been an amazing experience. Being a parent, and watching him grow.

Some years down the road, the sleepless nights will all become a blur. Some years down the road, I may yearn to play with his tiny feet and listen to his cooing once again. For now, I am treasuring every moment.

Lucas turned 4 weeks on Saturday. He is still the cutest baby ever. It seems he is slowly going into a pattern of feed & sleep (*fingers crossed*). But night feeds are still a struggle. He is in love with his pacifier. There are different perspectives on the introduction of the pacifier to babies and breastfeeding nazis will warn you against the use of pacifier for fear of nipple confusion. But it has worked wonders for us.

We have also started going outdoors more often with Lucas, slowly stretching the 15minutes of stroll to an hour, to a couple of hours of stroll+shop+lunch.

Our prenatal class mommies are coming together for the strollersize (walking around the mall with your stroller) at COQ mall tomorrow! Time to work off some excess baggage.
