Lucas the happy traveller

Lucas has been really cooperative on our travels. It's a joy to fly with him. He is my source of entertainment for 18 hours! He hardly cried or fussed on board the flight back to Vancouver. Probably only once when he was awaken from his deep sleep as the lights went on and meal carts came along. He would sleep, play peek-a-boo with passengers sitted behind him, snack on our food, watch us eat, and chew on his blankie. He was hardly interested in the toys I brought with me but he sure knows how to charm the ladies and have a good time! Having 2 of us around was also a big help especially when it comes to having to carry hand luggages.

Well, we are back in Vancouver since Monday. All of us (including Lucas) slept through till noon on Wednesday. I had no idea what happened to the alarm or Lucas (which I had assumed will wake me up anyway). He is almost back to his routine now and we have decided to push his bed time to 8pm instead of 7pm so that he can have dinner with us when Daddy gets home before he goes to bed.

It has been a great trip back to Singapore. Mostly to spend time with family and for Lucas to meet his Grandparents, aunties, uncles and cousins. Will update on some of our adventures during the trip in a later entry.

It's time for me to get ready to bring Lucas for Storytime @ the library. Time to meet his buddies!
