When a bunch of Fire Fighters come together to make pancakes, you be there and be ready for enormous pancakes.

We went to our first ever Pancake Breakfast by the Port Moody Fire Fighters. It is an annual event to kick off the Golden Spike Days at Port Moody (a local festival with lots of entertainment, games and activities for the kids).
We met the Vans and Jack's Great-Grandma at the Pancake Breakfast and had a wonderful time there eating gigantic pancakes and running after the boys.
It was such a warm day that we decided not to take the boys to the festival at Rocky Point Park and headed back home to spend some time in our backyard. We invited Carolyn, Jack and Great-Grandma to our place for a casual BBQ lunch. I was so excited to find the jumbo shrimps here in Port Moody at a local Chinese Supermarket!
We had a very relaxing and wonderful time chilling in our backyard and it was extra special to have the opportunity to get to know Jack's Great-Grandma who is such an amazing, sweet lady!
